Bill's Bike's Memorial Toy Run

My husband and I attended Bill's Bike's Memorial Toy Run on Sunday, December 12, 2010. It is a "Toys for Tots" bike run and was a lot of fun, and the parade was great. Met and spoke with a lot of very nice people. Looking forward to next year's run as well. This toy run provides 20% of the toys that are distributed to kids in Palm Beach County, Florida each year. There were approximately 2500 bikers in attendance. Yes Virginia, there is a Santa and sometimes he wears leather and rides a motorcycle! This is me on my 2009 Harley-Davidson Dyna Low Rider. Yes, I ride, and this is my bike. Hubby has his own Harley-Davidson Softail Custom that he rides. This was our second charity run this month. Hope you all have a wonderful Christmas.

Christmas is quickly approaching with the New Year following close behind. I want to take this time to say thank you to all my friends for the well wishes and confidence in my abilities. It is because of you that I enjoy this craft so much. Sharing ideas and getting feedback on ways to improve is invaluable to me.

A Birthday Card for my Mother-In-Law

As promised ... here are my nine new cards!

As I promised, here are the nine new cards that I've made. I hope you like them. Some are for a client and some are for the shop. The cards with the trees are heat embossed and the reindeer has silver glitter on it. Today I took time off and went to the beach with my husband for some much needed R&R. Thanks for looking!

Spring has sprung!!!

Spring has sprung (or is about to here in Florida) and Easter is just around the corner. Time for new beginnings and renewals. Time to renew old friendships and begin new ones.

Here are a few cards i've been working on for clients. I've used Stampin' Up! card stock and Designer Series papers and then a stamp set i found at Michael's that i really love. Let me know what you think of these. Happy Spring!

Trying to catch up ...

It is now 2010 and I'm trying to catch up with my blog. Things have been hectic between work (now that it is just the boss and me) and going to Hawaii to see my beautiful grandkids and my sons and daughter in law. Hawaii was great and i now have over 1000 photos to figure out which ones go into the scrapbook. I can't wait to find time to get going on it. I think the In Colors for 2009 are going to work great, but I might wait to see what the new In Colors are before i start in case I like them even better. Thanks for the comments on my cards. I really appreciate it. I've been looking at other blogs and there are sooooo many talented people out there!!!! Wow! Inspirational. Please continue to leave comments, good or bad, so I can improve and grow. Have a wonderful week! I am super happy tonight because my Indianapolis Colts are moving to the Super Bowl ... wonder who we will be playing? Guess i have to wait until later this evening to find out. I wish both teams the best of luck.
